Shortly after 5:00 pm yesterday Danville Police responded to the 200 block of Wendell Scott Drive for a report of a home invasion. A 28-year-old resident reported that he arrived home from work and discovered an unknown male in his living room. The suspect fled the scene on foot firing several shots towards the house as he went striking the victim's vehicle. Nothing was reported missing at the time of the initial report.
The resident was not struck or injured. The suspect was further described as a tall slender black male, wearing a ski mask, dark colored shirt, dark shoes, and blue jeans.
