Da'Quan LaJames Saunders, age 15 of Danville was arrested after turning himself in at the Danville Police Departement at approximately 3:00 PM this afternoon. He was wanted for the shooting that occurred at Woodside Village on 11-20-11 where Marchello Waddell died.
Saunders was served with petitions for the following charges in relation to the above incident:
SC 18.2-32 First Degree Murder
SC 18.2-53.1 Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony
SC 18.2-308.7 Possession of a firearm while under the age of 18 years
He will be held at W.W. Moore, Jr. Detention Home.
