Access to the Riverwalk trail section adjacent to the site of the new YMCA will be prohibited during the mornings and afternoons beginning Monday, April 1.
The section will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to allow construction workers to install three underground storm drain lines and one sewer line. The workers will backfill the excavated area with crushed stone to allow the section to be re-opened each day at 5 p.m.
The contractor expects to complete the installation of the lines by April 12, weather permitting.
