Open Dawn to Dusk - Eagle Springs Road
Evans Park is made up of over 150 acres and was donated to the City of Danville in memory of Ormond K. and Catherine B. Evans by their sons Keister Evans and Bob N. Evans and their families in 2014.
The property was once a tobacco farm, with family gardens, a stable for the mules and cows, and various outbuildings, including a corn crib where corn was shucked by hand before being taken to a mill to be turned into a cornmeal.
Visitors to the park may hike through the property on an un-paved walking trail and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature.
