Admission to the show is $10 per car and $20 per mini bus/15 passenger van. This is a cash only event.
Best in Show Vote - Each builder designates a non-profit that they decorate their spot for. Each vehicle that drives through the show receives one ballot. At the end of the route the ballot is turned in. The top displays receive a monetary donation to the non-profit of their choice. The 2020 winners were: first place, Team Pansies; second place, Trophy and Sign Center; third place, Goodyear, Danville; fourth place, St. Luke's United Methodist Church; fifth place, Foster Insurance Agency; and sixth place, Central Boulevard Church of God Youth.
Volunteer Gate Workers - Volunteer gate workers receive a portion of the money from each vehicle that attends the show the night they work. If your group is interested in working a night, please contact Taylor at (434) 793-4636.
Display Builders - Businesses, organizations, and families are encouraged to build a display in the Community Holiday Light Show to help spread the holiday cheer to all that visit the show. It is a great way to support a local non-profit also! There is no cost to enter a display. Over 12,000 people visit the show annually! In 2020 a total of $19,500 was donated back to the community between the gate workers and the Best in Show contest. 12,000 people attended in 3,580 cars and 8 buses. Over 200 volunteers helped make this event a success! Thank you to all of the visitors, volunteers, and builders that contributed to this event!
